Environmental responsibility

As a provider of services, our impact on the environment is relatively minor compared to other industries.  The main source of greenhouse gas emissions and pollution in our business is the consumption of electricity and paper. 

We have adopted the following office practices and procedures in order to minimize our impact on the environment:
  • Our electrical appliances are energy efficient and are switched off when not in use.

 

  • If a secure email address is provided to us, we will conduct most of our routine correspondence via email as an alternative to print.

 

  • We use 100% recycled post-consumer waste paper for printing, photocopying and draft documents.

 

  • Whenever possible, we only use envelopes and notepads made from 100% recycled paper.  

 

  • When we need high quality white paper for legal documents, we use white paper which contains at least 50% recycled content.

 

  • We do not purchase any paper products (including envelopes, notepads, etc) which are (or may be) sourced from Australian native forests or illegal logging.

 

  • We recycle all discarded paper, print cartridges, cardboard and plastic items.

 

  • Kitchen and boardroom facilities are shared with two other businesses.
